Easter Celebration

Spring is a time of newness and renewal.  Trees and flowers bloom as if paying homage to that most perfect gift that was given one Sabbath morning so very many springs ago.  As though the memory of Resurrection Sunday was imprinted in the stones and carried by the rivers, winds, and rain drops until the whole earth received the glorious message that if ever there was a season of celebration this was to be it.

Such are the thoughts I have every time I see the first hints of spring.  Blooming flowers, blossoming trees, the return of the honey bees, and melody of the birds...all lending to the symphonic celebration that culminates on Easter morning.  Mother Nature's form of party prep.  Never was there a better hostess and never has there been anything better to celebrate.

We were able to celebrate Easter this year with our good friends, Nick, Erin, little Dylan, and Erin's mom, Jan.  We love that they live so close!  The egg hunt lasted all of 2 minutes.  These little ones each picked up one or two eggs and were fascinated enough with those that the game came to a grinding halt.  They did, however, have a fabulous time on the trampoline...
This is how Tate and Ainsley give each other kisses.  So sweet!
Love these babies of mine!  And, I am thankful for Easter and all that it represents!
