Ingredients for a Successful Slumber Party
1 delicious dinner at the Gecko Grill. My choice: chicken chimichanga with extra jalapeno cream cheese. I am salivating at the mere thought.
2 or more people that will make you laugh until your tummy aches. In this instance our favorite Mesa Peeps (aka the ginchiest grandparents in the land) filled the role with exceeding ease.
1 softball win. Matt's team won the first game due to a forfeit by the other team. They ended up playing anyway and got smoked, claiming they weren't playing to their full potential and ability knowing they had already won. (PS I had to be the score keeper which rendered me completely unable to play photographer. Also...I am the worst score keeper in history. The end.) Matt's team ended up forfeiting the second game, which worked out well for me because at that point my flip flop clad toesies were feeling the chill of the evening.
Excessive amounts of junk food. Including but not limited to: cookies, cheese puffs, ice cream...you get the idea.
Combine 1 hammock, 1 sleeping bag, and 1 balcony at the Mesa 'Do (short for condo.) After a bit of bucking and resisting by the hammock, Matt showed him who was boss and slept like a baby.

1 scrumptious breakfast of German Babies. Due to the cannibalistic sounding nature of this delectable little dish they have been forever renamed Easy Peasies (due to the lemon squeezy that happens after they come out of the oven.)
1 Bountiful Basket. We ponied up the $15 and became 1st time participators in a food co-op. Best decision ever. And, thankfully we got to split the basket with the Mesa peeps because the basket was seriously bountiful.
Bubbles. My grandma knows that the little girl within me likes to come out and play every now and then and is instrumental in providing the contrivances necessary to entice her. I love being thought of as one of the "kids". It makes me smile and laugh and seriously, who doesn't love bubbles?!

Mix in 1 girls' shopping trip and 1 guys' trip to the pool hall. No explanation needed. Good times were had.
Combine all ingredients and let simmer over the weekend. Then, sit back, relax, and enjoy the euphoric feelings that are sure to come.
